Hello there, and welcome to my wildlife and street photography blog. My name is Tim, and I’m a passionate wildlife and street photographer living in Singapore. Doing this solely as a hobby, I’ve spent lots of hours capturing the complexity and beauty of the natural world with my camera and lens. The journey has been incredible and enjoyable so far, even filled with its own unique challenges. And with this blog, I hope I can share my experiences with you.
I am documenting this as a hobbyist photographer, approaching it from a hobbyist perspective, sharing my ideas, insights, methods, and lessons learnt. At times, things may sound simplistic or seem to break conventionality. However, I am not reinventing the wheel; I only wish to inspire and remove any intimidation when embarking on this hobby, whether as a beginner or a seasoned photographer.
Wildlife and street photography are more than just a hobby. It’s a way of connecting with the natural world, slowing down to admire its natural beauty, and admiring its colors. The streets are also filled with their own beauty, with fascinating lines of geometry, textures, shades, and people that tell stories of the urban landscape they work in. Capturing these moments as a photographer helps bring them to others and tell stories that can inspire, touch hearts, and raise awareness.
I hope that you will join me on this journey and be inspired to embark on it as well, creating a unique adventure of your very own.
Cheers
Tim
